ABOUT ME
Hi, there! I am Sawa.
I am a professionally trained voice-over artist based in Tokyo.
In 2022 I had the honor of receiving the Best Performance Award at the Voice Over Japan Awards ceremonies.
As a child, I began exploring vocal expressions. Since then, the voices of cartoons, the acting of performers in dramas, the vocal range of singers, and the quest to discover how to produce a similar voice have been a part of my life.
I would say that my voice is smooth and melodious.
However, I can handle different voices, including children’s voices and old women’s voices, as part of my ability to create characters. As a student, I attended the Tokyo Announce Academy and developed my voice-over skills more. After graduating from school, I worked as a wedding MC for 12 years, alongside polishing my singing voice.
I have spent many years honing and training my voice. My training continues in an effort to always improve.
My studying of video editing and music composition allows me to edit audio.
